Quick answer: Registered customers earn loyalty points when they pay. At the pay screen you can redeem their points as a discount on the current bill. The balance shows on the customer page and the receipt.
Earning points #
When a bill is settled for a registered customer, loyalty points are added based on the amount spent (plus any per-item points set on the menu). Walk-in customers do not earn points.
Redeeming points #
At the pay screen you can redeem a customer’s points as a discount on the current bill. The points balance is shown on the customer page and printed on the receipt so guests can track them.
Worked example #
Suppose points are worth Rs 1 each and a customer has 150 points. On their next visit their bill is Rs 1,800. At the pay screen you redeem 150 points as a Rs 150 discount, so they pay Rs 1,650. They then earn fresh points on this visit, shown on their receipt.
