Building the dish menu (guest-based quantities)

Adding dishes #

For a per-head event you can list exactly what will be served. In the Dishes section of the booking you can:

• Add from menu – pick a dish from your saved menu and its rate fills in automatically.
• Add a row – type a custom dish, unit and rate.

Quantities follow the guest count #

Per-head catering is charged per guest, so each dish quantity is tied to the number of guests. When you set Expected Guests (for example 300), every per-head dish is set to 300 automatically, and each dish total becomes rate × guests.

1. Enter the number of guests first.
2. Add your dishes – each one starts at the guest count.
3. If you change the guest count later, the dish quantities update with it. You can still override a single dish by typing a different quantity (for example fewer desserts).

The dish total and the overall food amount update live in the Payment Summary.

Benefits #

• No more “quantity 1” mistakes – catering is correctly multiplied by the number of guests.
• The invoice shows the customer the full menu with real quantities and amounts.
• Change the guest count once and every dish recalculates instantly.
