Generating an invoice #
From a booking, click Generate Invoice. The invoice carries the full event details – billed-to, event type, date, shift, portion, guests, the per-head menu with quantities, the services, and the charge breakdown ending in taxable amount, sales tax and total.
Proforma first (no QR) #
A new invoice is a proforma until you submit it to PRA. You can print it straight away to give the customer – it is clearly marked “Proforma – not submitted to PRA” and carries no fiscal QR. This is perfect for sharing the bill before the formal fiscal step.
Adjusting before submission #
Until an invoice is submitted to PRA you can still fine-tune the amounts (for example a last-minute discount). Once it is submitted it is locked, so the fiscal record cannot be tampered with.
Submitting to PRA #
- Open the invoice and click Submit to PRA.
- Confirm the on-screen message (this step is final – it confirms the transaction cannot be reversed or cancelled).
- The invoice is fiscalised: it gets a PRA invoice number and a QR code, and now prints as a full PRA e-invoice.
Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) e-invoicing is mandatory for marriage halls. The module ships ready to use: in manual mode it stamps a local fiscal reference and QR on every submitted invoice, and when live PRAL credentials are added it transmits directly – with no change to how you work.
Benefits #
- Share a clean proforma early, then fiscalise only when the deal is final.
- Full, itemised tax invoice so the customer sees exactly what they are paying for.
- Stay compliant with PRA e-invoicing rules, with a scannable QR on every official invoice.
- Submitted invoices are locked, protecting you and the customer.
