The events calendar #
Open Bookings → Calendar to see every event laid out by date. Each event is colour-coded by status (confirmed, tentative, completed, cancelled) so you can read the month at a glance. Click any event to open its full booking.
Availability & double-booking prevention #
A marriage hall usually has two or three portions (for example Main Hall, Basement, Hall 2), and each can be booked for a morning, evening or night shift. When you create or edit a booking and pick an in-house portion, shift and date, the system checks instantly whether that exact slot is already taken.
- Pick the event date, portion and shift on the booking form.
- A green message confirms the slot is free, or a red message warns that it is already booked (and shows which booking is holding it).
- If the slot is taken, the Save button is blocked so the clash cannot be saved by mistake.
Because each portion is tracked separately, you can still run two different events on the same day in two different portions without any conflict.
