Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Voiceover Artist to join our team. As a Voiceover Artist, you will be responsible for providing professional, high-quality voice recordings for a variety of projects, including commercials, e-learning modules, corporate videos, audiobooks, animations, podcasts, and more. You will work closely with the creative team to deliver engaging and clear voice recordings that align with the tone and message of the content. The ideal candidate will have excellent vocal control, the ability to modulate tone and style, and experience in voiceover work across various genres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality voice recordings for a wide range of projects, including commercials, animations, corporate videos, e-learning modules, podcasts, audiobooks, and more.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and clients to understand the desired tone, style, and message of each project.
- Record voiceovers in a professional, clear, and engaging manner.
- Edit and deliver voiceover files in the required format, ensuring clean, crisp sound quality.
- Adapt your vocal style to suit different genres, including conversational, formal, dramatic, comedic, or authoritative, depending on the project’s needs.
- Take direction well and make adjustments to your performance to meet the creative vision.
- Ensure voice recordings are completed on time and meet client expectations.
- Keep up to date with trends in voiceover work and continually improve vocal performance.
- Provide your own equipment and studio setup (if required), or work with a team-provided studio setup for recording.
Required Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Formal training or experience in voiceover work is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of professional voiceover experience (commercials, e-learning, animation, audiobooks, etc.).
- Proven ability to modulate voice tone, pace, and inflection to suit various project needs.
- Experience recording and editing voiceovers using industry-standard audio equipment and software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity).
Technical Skills:
- High-quality, professional recording equipment (studio microphone, soundproof environment, etc.).
- Proficiency in audio editing and post-production processes.
- Ability to deliver voice recordings in various audio formats (MP3, WAV, AIFF, etc.).
- Familiarity with remote recording tools for collaboration (Zoom, Skype, Source-Connect, etc.) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Clear and expressive communication with the ability to convey emotion, tone, and intent.
- Ability to take direction and adjust performance based on feedback.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent time management skills.
Preferred Expertise:
Experience:
- Experience in various voiceover genres, such as character work, narration, commercial, and corporate voiceover.
- Ability to speak multiple languages or accents is a plus.
- Previous experience working with clients in a professional voiceover studio or remotely.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with sound design and the ability to add basic sound effects to recordings.
- Experience working on long-form projects like audiobooks or e-learning courses.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and provide quick turnaround times.
