3. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may only be considered under the following situations:
a) Duplicate Payment
If a customer is charged multiple times for the same service accidentally.
b) Service Not Delivered
If TecniForge fails to initiate the agreed service within the committed timeframe and no substantial work has been performed.
c) Technical Inability
If TecniForge is technically unable to provide the purchased service and no alternative solution is accepted by the customer.
d) Hosting Services
Hosting-related refunds may be eligible only within 3 days of initial purchase, provided:
- No abuse or policy violation occurred
- Resource usage remains within normal limits
- No significant server resources were consumed
4. Custom Development Projects
For custom software, app, or website development projects:
- Advance payments and milestone payments are non-refundable once development work has started.
- If a project is canceled by the client after work initiation, TecniForge reserves the right to retain payment proportional to completed work, hours invested, and resources utilized.
- Any delivered source code, design assets, or completed modules remain the property of TecniForge until full payment is received.
5. Domain Registration & Third-Party Services
Domain registrations, renewals, transfer fees, and third-party services are strictly non-refundable because these services are instantly processed through external providers.
This includes services from:
- Hosting vendors
- Payment gateways
- API providers
- Licensing providers
- Cloud infrastructure providers
6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact TecniForge support before initiating any chargeback or dispute.
Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in:
- Immediate suspension of services
- Permanent account termination
- Legal recovery actions if applicable
7. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are typically processed within:
- 7–14 business days for bank transfers
- Depending on payment processor timelines for card or online payments
Transaction fees, gateway charges, and currency conversion fees may be deducted from refundable amounts where applicable.
8. Cancellation Policy
Clients may request cancellation of recurring services by providing written notice before the next billing cycle.
Failure to cancel before renewal may result in automatic billing according to the active subscription or agreement.
