UI/ UX Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered designs for both web and mobile applications. As a UI/UX Designer, you will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to craft seamless user experiences and deliver exceptional designs that align with both business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design engaging and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and understand user needs.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing) to ensure design consistency and alignment with business objectives.
Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, team members, and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all products.
Optimize designs for various devices, platforms, and screen sizes.
Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve design quality and user experience.
Advocate for the user experience, ensuring that designs prioritize usability and accessibility.
Conduct competitor analysis and stay informed about industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in a digital product design or tech-related environment.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Experience in prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, or Marvel.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Proficiency in designing responsive web and mobile interfaces with a focus on user experience.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability testing methodologies.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain design decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet design goals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for user-centered design and a deep understanding of how to create intuitive, effective interfaces.

Preferred Expertise:

Experience designing for both desktop and mobile platforms.
Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with sprint cycles.
Knowledge of design systems and experience building or maintaining them.
Familiarity with motion design and animation tools such as After Effects or Principle is a plus.
Experience with user testing tools (e.g., UserTesting, Hotjar, Lookback) and analyzing user feedback.
Knowledge of web development technologies such as JavaScript and CSS frameworks is a bonus.
