# AI Assistance

**AI Assistance** brings helpful artificial-intelligence tools right into vFile, so you can generate text and get a hand with everyday tasks without leaving the app.

## The AI dashboard & history

Open [vfile.app/aiassistance/dashboard](https://vfile.app/aiassistance/dashboard) to see the available **tools**, each built for a specific job. Everything you generate is saved under [History](https://vfile.app/aiassistance/history) to revisit and reuse.

## Worked example

You have just added a new product and want an appealing description for your online catalogue.

1. You open the **AI dashboard** and choose the *Product Description* tool.
2. You type the product name — *Corn AG 603 Hybrid Seed* — and a few key points: high yield, disease resistant, 10 kg bag.
3. You click **Generate**, and the AI returns a tidy description.
4. You tweak one sentence to match your tone, then paste it into the product so it shows in your [Catalogue QR](https://tecniforge.com/docs/vfile/vfile-catalogue/catalogue-qr-guide/).
5. The draft stays in your History for reuse next season.

## What this affects

- **It only produces text** — AI Assistance drafts words. It does not change products, stock, ledgers or figures on its own.
- **You stay in control** — nothing is used until you copy the result and apply it yourself.

## Frequently asked questions

**Will the AI change my products or figures automatically?**
No. It only writes text for you; you decide whether and where to use it.

**Are my results saved?**
Yes — everything you generate is kept in History so you can reuse or update it.

**Should I use the AI's output word-for-word?**
Treat it as a first draft. A quick human edit makes it accurate and truly yours.
