# Customer profiles, history and VIP detection

## Automatic customer profiles

Every time you take a booking, the customer is saved (or matched to an existing record by mobile number). Open **Customers** to see the list, or click a name to open a profile showing their contact details and complete **booking history** - every event, amount and payment.

## VIP detection

The system automatically flags your most valuable customers as **VIP**, based on how many times they have booked and how much they have spent (the thresholds are set in settings). You can also mark or unmark a customer as VIP by hand.

## Sortable lists

The customer list can be sorted to answer business questions instantly:

- By **total amount spent** - who are your biggest spenders?
- By **number of bookings** - who books with you most often?
- VIP-only view - focus on your top customers.
